I paint a bit, and this page is to share some of that work. It might be fun to scroll through if you feel like soaking in colour. I paint whatever snatches my attention and that tends to be scenes defined by bright light and shade. There are more paintings all over my house. With a professional artist for a husband there’s quite the competition for wall space.

Chilis on a market stall, a field of sunflowers, Dad strumming base (that fantastic lighting!). The lizard is from when they were my nephew’s favourite thing, painting all those scales gave me hand cramps for a week. Podge, the horse was for a friend. The abstract above Podge’s head started off as a mandala, but I couldn’t keep it symmetrical.

The Netherlands were, to my eye, all about flowers. As for Norway… it was like living inside a painting.
